Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 May 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

Keyra is operated by Mattis Müller ("Keyra", "we", "us"), a sole trader based in the European Union. By creating a Keyra account or using the service, you enter into a contract with Mattis Müller and agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and, if signing up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.

2. The service

Keyra is a web-based tool for managing shared holiday homes — including a house manual, stay calendar, guest access links, upkeep tracking, and a guestbook. It is provided as software-as-a-service under the plan you select.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Keyra for unlawful purposes or to store illegal content.
  • Send spam or attempt fraud through the service.
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Attempt to access data belonging to homes you are not a member of.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service; upload malware; or scrape the service.
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute Keyra, or circumvent its technical limits.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, articles, guestbook entries, manual content). By uploading it you grant us a limited, worldwide licence to host, store, transmit and display it solely as necessary to provide the service to you and the members and guests you authorise.

6. Our intellectual property

Keyra, its software, design, branding and documentation are owned by Mattis Müller and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. No other rights are granted.

7. Payments, billing and our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Plan prices, billing frequency and any free-trial terms are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Our own refund commitments are set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Keyra available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, add or remove features and may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

9. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keyra is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the total fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you upload, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

On termination, you may export your data for up to 30 days, after which it will be deleted in line with our Privacy Notice.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Keyra after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. The courts of Germany shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence.
